“THE MANAGEMENT OF CDM CO-ORDINATION” *
This three day course focuses on the process of CDM Co-ordination and the proactive role demanded in its interface with all the other duty holders. Clients and designers particularly have a wider remit in health and safety management under the CDM Regulations 2007 and the role of the CDM Co-ordinator is instrumental in ensuring the fulfilment of statutory duties.

“DESIGN RISK MANAGEMENT”
This accredited two-day course instructs and informs on the relevant aspects of the DESIGN RISK MANAGEMENT process, so vital to the practising design team in the discharge of duties as outlined in the CDM Regulations 2007. It focuses on the influential role of the design team as identified in the Approved Code of Practice (L144) and is a sister course to the successful three day course entitled, “ THE MANAGEMENT OF CDM CO-ORDINATION”.

The structure of both courses, which are also available as closed courses by arrangement, consists of a pragmatic, interactive approach with reliance on assignments, questionnaires and case studies.

Entry onto either course will require the demonstration of a basic level of understanding of the CDM Regulations 2007 and associated construction related legislation. This will need to be verified by SYNERGY CMC Ltd prior to acceptance onto the course.
Each course includes comprehensive course notes; copies of the associated ACoP and relevant APS guides.
As well as furnishing relevant points towards the APS membership threshold, successful completion of the course also provides an accelerated route to APS membership of the corresponding register.
